Fundraising

Unipart has consistently met its target to invest 1% of its pre-tax profits in the community in line with its Value Set and Business in the Community guidelines. Unipart sites around the world engage in regular fundraising activities and events, with the most significant of these being Unipart’s annual Big Charity Challenge.

Each year, all Unipart colleagues take part in the Big Charity Challenge, which is a week of a wide range of fun and engaging fundraising activities in aid of local charities. By choosing local charities, the Big Charity Challenge provides great support to our people and communities, exemplifying the value of living and working The Unipart Way.

The Unipart’s Big Charity Challenge 2024 has raised £56,450.09 for 42 different charities around the world.

Driving sustainability

A vital aspect of Unipart’s culture and work in the community is driving sustainability.

With headquarters in Oxford, Unipart played a significant role in the Zero Carbon Oxford Partnership, a collaboration between universities, NHS trusts, councils, large businesses, further education, and community organisations.

The project gives Unipart colleagues who live and work in the Oxfordshire area a chance to further engage with Unipart’s sustainability targets to create a sustainable future.

In addition to this, in 2024 Unipart sponsored the first ever Oxford Climate Awards, recognising individuals and organisations in Oxfordshire playing a vital role in tackling climate change.
