The Challenge
A supercar manufacturer’s supply chain was not optimised for just-in-time delivery across more than 180,000 production lines.
The operation was largely paper-based which yielded low inventory accuracy. The issue was exacerbated by the variable nature of supercar production compared to volume manufacturing, because every high-performance supercar is customised to individual buyers.
